The HPA series by dB Technologies delivers excellent performance and quality for a reasonable price. It was developed by the designers at the Swedish Lab.gruppen, a leading brand in the amplification world. The series consists of four class HD amplifiers that were developed for professional use in mobile amplification racks or fixed installations. All of the amplifiers in the series feature XLR inputs for the signal and lockable speaker connections for the speakers. The HPA 3100 is the most powerful amplifier from the HPA series by dB Technologies. With 2x 800 Watts of power at 8 Ohms, this amplifier can power heavy satellite speakers or subwoofers. Despite the significant power of this speaker, it only weights 30.8 lbs (14 kg), thanks to its lightweight components. The PFC switched mode power supply (SMPS), for instance, makes the amplifier much lighter than the rest of the HPA series.
