The compact, well-structured mixers combine high-quality audio quality with a variety of connector options. This modern XENYX Q1204USB mixer is no different! Equipped with a built-in USB audio interface.
XENYX Q1204USB: versatile audio centre
The compact dimensions and light weight make this unit very easy to transport, to place at difficult locations and to use in small home studios. Despite its compactness, it is still extremely functional. You will have four microphone channels at your disposal with jack as well as XLR inputs. Every channel has a gain control and a low cut, as well as a built-in compressor. Every channel can be adjusted until the dynamic balance is just right.
British EQ and wireless options
The Behringer XENYX Q1204USB has two stereo channels (for key instruments, for instance) and four mono channels for guitar or vocals. The equalizers are of the British type. Effects gear can be connected and routed per channel thanks to sends and returns. The control room and headphones output provide optimal listening, including volume control. The clear LED meters provide you with information about the mixing signal. Professional use with the ULM series digital wireless microphones is made possible by a USB receiver. The Q1204USB is a versatile ergonomic mixer that is well suited for use at home as well as on location.

The lack of useful instructions without trawling the Internet is a handicap. It's supplied with a quick start up guide but lacks a decent online manual that takes you on from start up.
I'm guessing we'll have a similar issue when we need to use it as a mixer for gigs. It's a simple device but just telling us what each knob/button is called doesn't help driving it.
