General

The compact DAP GIG-62 is a versatile mixer with four full-fledged input channels. For instance, you can connect two microphones to channel 1 and 2, possibly combined with stereo line signals to other channels, like a keyboard or MP3 player. You can easily mix the volumes via the four rotary knobs at the bottom - the input levels of the microphones can be adjusted with the gain knobs. The sound of each channel is accurately adjustable with a 3-band equalizer for the mono channels and a 2-band EQ for the stereo channels. As the GIG-62 is equipped with switchable phantom power, it is fit for dynamic as well as condenser microphones. This really is a practical mixer for presentations, small gigs or home recordings.

The practical GIG-62

The AUX output of the GIG-62 lets you connect a monitor speaker, if you so wish, so that you can hear yourself properly on stage. Each channel has its own AUX controls, so that you can precisely select in which ratio the different sound sources can be heard through the monitor. Regular PA speakers can be connected to the main outputs. Furthermore, the mixer features control room and a headphones output with its own volume controls. 2TK inputs and outputs (also called tape connectors) are provided to receive the signal of, for instance, a CD player and record the main mix with an external recorder.
