With the Livepad series RCF has also added a line of compact mixers to their assortment. The L-PAD 8C is an 8-channel mixer with four mono inputs and 3 stereo inputs, making it suited for a variety of applications.

Compressor

This L-PAD8C has a compressor on the first two microphone channels, which allows for more control over trickier signals such as vocals. Furthermore, with the help of a control knob you can set the threshold and the ratio simultaneously. In such a way, anyone can easily create a professional signal, so the duet or trio that goes on the road with this Livepad doesn't need to include an expert in balancing microphones. With the help of the 3-way tone control the timbre can be adjusted to suit your needs, and you can enjoy the transparent, warm sound of the preamplifiers. Finally, the four microphone channels are equipped with low-cut switches, which compress all frequencies under 75 Hz when turned on so you won't have trouble with low-frequency noise or handling noise from your microphone.

Expansion cards

This compact mixer is also equipped with an expansion slot so you can add an MP3 player, an MP3 recorder or a Bluetooth module, should you so choose. This makes it possible to play music from a USB stick or to wirelessly stream from your tablet or smart phone to your mixer via Bluetooth. Moreover, the MP3 module with recorder makes it possible to record your live performance in stereo.
