The AMBEO Smart Surround earplugs capture the sound with great accuracy and high quality, as you'd expect from a Sennheiser product. Connect the AMBEO Smart Surround earplugs to your mobile device using a Lightning connector, or to your computer with the included USB-C adapter.
Sennheiser AMBEO Smart: 3D audio with two mics
Binaural audio has been around for some time now. You can make stereo recordings with a pair of microphones and create a spacious effect by varying the volume of the left and right signal. When you position the mics a little further apart, like from ear to ear, there will be a slight difference in time, which also creates a roomy effect. With these AMBEO Smart Surround earplugs, you physically wear the microphones in your ears, so even something as subtle as the shape of your auricles will also have an effect on the captured sound, resulting in an incredibly realistic 3D audio image.
