General

A synthesiser that works outside its own world is truly versatile. With the SOMA Breakout Box, you can connect your FLUX synthesiser to modular hardware, or control it from a DAW that supports MIDI. The small metal casing fits neatly on your desk or under your gear, but can also be used as a module in a Eurorack rack without needing an extra power supply!

Two ways to use it

If you connect the Breakout Box to FLUX, you can send pitch, velocity and seven other signals to your modular setup. If you’d rather use it as a MIDI-to-CV converter, you can control everything using standard MIDI or MPE. You can configure exactly how you want the outputs to work via the internal memory using a computer. Just plug a single cable into the USB-C port and the SOMA Breakout Box does the rest, whether you’re using it with FLUX or as a standalone converter!
