Known for their faithful recreations of vintage gear, the Lindell Audio Lin76 limiting amplifier is a faithful yet affordable reincarnation of one of the most sought-after American-made compressor/limiters of all time. Keeping things as close to the original as possible, the transformers have been made in the USA and the look as well as the sound of whole unit has an immediately vintage feel. Even the ratio settings match those of the original: 4:1, 8:1, 20:1, plus an 'all-on' ratio button. Both the variable attack and release times feature an ultra-fast option, while a set of throwback VU meters have been fitted for clear and intuitive monitoring. Basically, the Lin76 gives you exactly the vibe, the quality of timbre and the nuance you'd get from a FET-based unit built back in sixties or seventies, and does it all for a much lower price.
