Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini - Audio SDI 12G

General

The Teranex Mini Audio to SDI converter lets you embed two balanced analogue, optical or RCA audio channels. For AES/EBU, you can even embed up to four audio channels on any SD, HD, Ultra HD or DCI 4K SDI connection. This allows you to embed audio from any source on SDI video connections so you can then use them with SDI routers and decks. It is possible to fit up to three units in a 19-inch rack taking up only a single unit (1U) of space. This makes the converter particularly suitable for mobile use and 'on-site' applications.

PoE and remote control with Ethernet connection

The big advantage is that you can stream the highest quality video due to the Ethernet connection and 12G-SDI signal processing. Moreover, via this Ethernet connection it is possible to remotely control or power the converter using 'power-over-ethernet' (PoE). A built-in power supply (90 - 240 volts) is also provided, which you can connect directly to the mains using a separately available IEC-C14 Schuko cable.
