The single-ply, 10 mil thick skin of this Remo-developed bass drumhead features an extra damping ring for reining in overtones and focussing the lows and mids while the coated finish supports subtle attack and definition. All of this results in the perfect balance between controlled tone and tight response. This all-rounder of a bass drumhead has an 18 inch diameter and serves just as well in the studio as it does on stage.
