General

This passive DI box boasts double the connection ports of your average DI and can even double as a dual line isolator. This is the stylishly dressed yet highly practical Walrus Audio Canvas Stereo DI box. Set up as a straightforward DI box, this widget is able to handle two high-impedance signals like electric guitars or basses, sending a cleaner signal to the external audio interface in a studio or to the live mixer in a venue via XLR. The two thru-ports can then be used to send the signal to two amplifiers at the same time.

The Walrus Audio Canvas Stereo: Extra Features

Switch from a DI setup to a Line Isolator setup to support low impedance equipment like a keyboard, electric piano or an amplifier simulator like the ACS1 using the two LI outputs. The custom transformers ensure low harmonic distortion and a wide frequency range, and the 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response keeps the sound flat and uncoloured. If you don't need the thru-outputs, they can be converted into two extra outputs by simply hitting the Sum switch, and a Pad switch and Ground Lift switch have been fitted to counter input distortion and ground-loop-related buzz and hum. All wrapped up in a pedal-style housing, this tight audio tool has even been designed to slot neatly onto any pedalboard.
