General

The Yamaha YDS-120 digital saxophone is a great solve for musicians who want to hone their skills in silence when they're at home and want the option to toggle between various sounds when they're with the band. So, while built like a soprano sax, the YDS-120 also serves up the sound of an alto, tenor and baritone saxophone. In fact, it's home to 56 different saxophone sounds - all of which cater to specific styles - plus the sound of a flute, a shakuachi and various other instruments for a total of 73 sounds, which can be tweaked to taste via the special companion app. Finished with an AUX input, this 21st-century sax is easily hooked up to an external playback device so you can play your favourite backing tracks.
