Roland's new Juno-D Series synthesizers follow in the footsteps of the popular Juno-DS models and represent a fresh generation of bread-and-butter synths with a lightweight design. Equipped with 76 keys and brimming with ready-made samples of pianos, strings, synths, wind instruments, drums, choirs, guitars and more, the Roland Juno-D7 has been designed with touring musicians in mind.

The Roland Juno-D7

The Juno-D7 is powered by the same ZEN-Core engine found in bigger Roland-made synths and workstations, which means the options are more than extensive. In addition, this all-round synthesizer supports the EXZ expansions that you can download from the Roland Cloud; features an improved keyboard for enhanced playability; and comes outfitted with a USB-C port that supports audio and MIDI.

Who's It For?

The new generation of Junos will no doubt become a staple in the studio scene. The solid sound of the ZEN-Core engine and the expansion potential offered by the Roland Cloud makes these synths remarkably robust, while the in-built sequencer gives users the ability to write songs without the need for a laptop on the side. This is a great keyboard, very light weight for it's size and has a nice synth action. I connect it to another keyboard via midi when i need a piano hammer action so i have the best of both worlds (although there is an 88 piano keybed version available if needed) The piano sounds are great and can be tweaked to suit your needs with effects and EQ. Being able to create 7 layers of great sounds and the ability to stop some sounds sustaining when the pedal is pressed is really useful.. There are so many great sounds too, all very usable and another great feature for me is being able to plug a microphone into the back and use the various effects on your vocals. very pleased with the ROLAND JUNO D7
