General

Yamaha's DD-75 is a compact, digital tabletop drum kit with a wide variety of drum and percussion sounds on board. Because it can be powered by six C-type batteries as well as an optional AC adapter, you can play it almost anywhere. It's equipped with built-in stereo speakers and has a headphone socket for when you want to practise in silence. The DD-75 can be mounted on most snare stands and comes with two assignable foot pedals and a set of drumsticks.

The Yamaha DD-75

The DD-75 has eight touch-sensitive drum pads and the sensitivity of the four cymbal pads and four tom and snare pads are all adjustable to ensure they react to the dynamics in your playing just the way you want them to. There are 75 preset drum kits and room for 10 of your own setups on board and you have a choice of 570 different sounds in all. The DD-75 has MIDI inputs and outputs allowing you to use it as a MIDI controller in combination with DAW software and you can connect an external sound source like a smartphone via the auxiliary input so that you can play along with your favourite tunes too.
