What is a B-Stock Item? Any item we can no longer sell as new is labelled B-stock. General

The AlphaTheta DDJ-FLX2 has been designed with budding DJs in mind. This user-friendly, two-channel DJ controller connects to laptops, phones and computers and features various smart functions that show beginners the ropes when it comes mixing and beatmatching. Besides weaving beats together, the DDJ-FLX2 can be used to add effects to tracks and is a great pick whether you're looking to launch a serious DJ career, host a house party or mix up some music with your mates.

DJ Apps and Streaming Services

The DDJ-FLX2 supports various DJ apps, including rekordbox and djay. Install your favourite app on your mobile device, connect up the controller and you're ready to get started. And, once you feel ready for the next step and want to learn more advanced techniques, you can easily upgrade to PC/Mac software like rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite. Each DJ app is compatible with different streaming services so be sure to pick the one that matches your style and favourite music — djay, for example, gives you access to Apple Music, with over 100 million tracks to mix into your sound.

Smart CFX and Smart Fader

The built-in Smart CFX and Smart Fader support mixing just like your favourite DJs, where the Smart CFX filter controls enable you to apply complex and dynamic effect techniques, while the Smart Fader automatically optimises the volume, BPM and bass, ensuring smooth transitions. All you need to do then is shift the crossfader in the right direction.

Performance Pads

AlphaTheta has also outfitted the DDJ-FLX2 with eight Performance Pads, which come with selectable modes so you can configure them as needed. There's a Hot Cue mode for marking specific parts of a track (e.g. the intro or chorus); a Pad FX mode that allows you to activate effects at the push of a button; a Sampler mode for creative DJs who want to try out special techniques like finger-drumming; and more.
