General

Packing plenty of power, the DB Technologies ES 802 system is a big step up from the ES 602 set, expanding the subwoofer size from 10 inches to 12 inches and simply doubling the satellite speakers, boosting the audio dispersion and, in turn, boosting the range.

The DB Technologies ES 802: The Compact Line Array

The ES 802 follows the line array concept, so each of the two top cabinets feature four 3 inch woofers and have been mounted in such a way that they operate as a line source. This comes with an enormous range of benefits when compared to standard systems and, since this set comes including a distance rod and each cabinet has been finished with integrated pole mounts, everything is easily set up, plugged in and ready to play.

Connections

To keep things as flexible as possible, the back of the subwoofer has been loaded with more than enough connection options. A single combo XLR and jack input has been supplied alongside a standard XLR input, so multiple units can be chained to expand the system. Via the fitted RCA input, a mixer or other external audio equipment can be hooked up and the fitted level pots offer accurate, hands-on control.
