Shure's Motiv MV88+ Video Kit contains everything you need to produce professional-quality audio recordings to go with your videos. Connect the MV88+ digital stereo condenser microphone to your device using the included USB or Lightning cable, and if that device happens to be a phone, it can be neatly secured in the included holder and mounted onto the Manfrotto Pixi tripod. ShurePlus audio and video apps can be downloaded for free and allow you to adjust various microphone settings, and you can select one of the five different presets: speech, singing, flat, acoustic instrument and loud, for the best possible performance in any given situation, and even adjust the stereo image width.

Heel fijne setup!. Ik gebruik het om repetities mee op te nemen en het werkt echt heel makkelijk. Geluid is uitstekend, bijgeleverde app is praktisch, en het kitje is supercompact.

de Shure MV88 videokit is een erg goede aankoop : voor een geringe som heb je een prachtige micro plus een piekfijn statiefje van Manfrotto. De twee gratis apps : Motiv Audio en Motiv Video werken uitstekend. In feite werkt de micro volkomen transparent : eens ingeplugd werken de gewone Apple iPhone apps met de Shure micro alsof het de natuurlijke micro is van uw telefoon, plug&play dus.
De micro produceert alleen .WAV audiofiles, erg professioneel maar wel volumineus. Met de Motiv Audio app kan je de .WAV files converteren naar AAC, waardoor ze 11 keer kleiner worden ! Deze gecomprimeerde bestanden kan je dan delen via Dropbox, of Mail, of Google Drive. De ongecomprimeerde .WAV files via WiFi versturen is wel omslachtig.
De Shure micro kan je op allerlei manieren afstellen via de Motiv Audio app , erg professioneel. En als je daar niet veel belangstelling voor hebt, dan kies je voorinstellingen voor KOOR , Accoestische instrumenten of Volumineuze muziek (techno?).
één ding kan nog verbeterd worden in de funkties van de Motiv audio app : onmiddellijk opnemen in een gecomprimeerd formaat, AAC of .mp3 , het is om het even, zonder de tussenstap van .WAV : voor niet-professionele gebruikers zou dat een comfort zijn.
