General

Amplifier maker Orange has made quite a name for itself. Their amps are known for having a warm sound yet being fully capable in the shredding department. The Crush 20RT is one of Orange's compact amplifiers. When designing it, an important parameter was that its signal remain fully analogue. Apart from the reverb, it is indeed fully analogue! The amp features two channels, an 8-inch speaker and 20 watts of power, which is modest enough to keep the neighbours from calling the police yet loud enough for a practice session.

Orange Crush 20 RT: overview

Orange designed a special equalizer specifically for their Crush series, so that it matches the amplifiers perfectly. It allows you to freely adjust the tone for your favourite sound. Also, you no longer need a separate tuner, as this amp has one built in! There's also a reverb that's a digital simulation of a classic spring reverb, so you won't be bothered by any of the annoying analogue side effects. Furthermore, you can also play while using the headphone output with 4x 12 cabinet simulator.
