General

The Soundcraft Notepad-8FX is a compact analogue mixer that gives you perfect sound for your music, videos or podcasts. With 8 channels and a plug-n-play 2x2 USB audio interface, there are plenty of options. The first two channels are equipped with Soundcraft's own professional microphone preamps. Excellent sound quality is also assured thanks to the on-board digital signal processor by Harman. There are built-in effects by Lexicon too that include delay, reverb, and chorus to help you get the sound you're looking for. The tap tempo function is also handy to have.

Channels and options

The Notepad-8FX is easy to operate. Channels 1 and 2 both have XLR/jack combo inputs with 48V phantom power and a 100 Hz cut button for attenuating the low frequencies. Channel 1 also has Hi-Z so that you can connect an instrument like a guitar directly to it. Channels 3 to 6 can be used in mono or stereo mode while channels 7 and 8 have an RCA and USB connectors. The only other thing you need to do is plug in some speakers and you're good to go.
