The Fazley Vintage Series FLP318: Refined Playability

Other smart and authentic features include the balanced foundation sound of the basswood body and the set-in neck construction. This doesn't just guarantee optimum vibrational transfer along the entire length of the body and neck, but enhances the sustain, and combines with a deep cutaway to grant comfortable access to the highest of the twenty-two frets. Sticking to the LP blueprint, the Fazley FLP318 has a slightly shorter scale length of 24.75-inches. This tried-and-tested nut-to-bridge distancing reduces the string tension a touch, making tricks like note bends and tapping feel lighter and easier, and backing up the immense popularity of the LP-style model. Meanwhile, the TOM-style bridge and stopbar support smooth tuning and stability.
