Wrote the following about Sigma Guitars GJA-SG200-AN Electro-Acoustic Guitar with Gig Bag

Mijn eerste gitaar was een zwarte Sigma (SG-9). Deze heb ik in 1980 nieuw gekocht.
Het is nog steeds een geweldige gitaar met een prachtig geluid, maar na zoveel jaar vond ik het weer tijd (weer leuk) om een nieuwe western gitaar te kopen, maar dan een 'grand jumbo'.

Al geruime tijd kijk ik naar de Gibson J-200 maar ik moet helaas concluderen dat deze buiten mijn budget valt. De Sigma GJA-SG200-AN is een prachtige betaalbare versie van deze Gibson.
Na vele reviews op YouTube bekeken te hebben, waarin de Sigma SG-200 en o.a. de Epiphone J-200 worden vergeleken met de Gibson J-200, vond ik dat deze Sigma er op alle fronten heel goed uitkwam. Ondanks dat de Epiphone een All-solid gitaar is, vind ik het geluid van deze Sigma veel beter en wordt de sound van de Gibson heel goed benaderd en daar gaat het uiteindelijk om.

De gitaar ziet er, met die prachtige donkere moustache brug fantastisch uit.
Ik zat te twijfelen over de micarta brug en toets maar ik las op internet dat micarta vanuit duurzaamheid wordt toegepast. Met dit argument is het wel oké.
Dus toen ik deze gitaar als B-stock exemplaar op de site zag staan was de keuze snel gemaakt.
Ik dacht met de retourservice van Bax Music loop ik geen risico.
Normaal zou ik niet zo snel een B-stock gitaar kopen omdat ik een gitaar wil zonder krasjes of kleine beschadigingen. Maar het klopte volgens de beschrijving, geen kras, niets, maar wel een behoorlijke korting. Superblij mee.

De kleur van de gitaar is prachtig. Een mooie warme naturel vintage kleur maar niet overdreven en volledig uitgevoerd in hoogglans.
De gitaar is in het echt mooier dan dat de foto's doen vermoeden.
Ook de Grover stemmechanieken zijn top, deze draaien heel soepel.
Alleen de actie moet wat bijgesteld worden want die is wat hoog. Voor de rest speelt hij heerlijk.

De gitaar wordt geleverd met een prachtig stevige softshell case / gigbag die goed zijn vorm behoudt.
Ook deze Sigma is een geweldige gitaar. Klinkt heel goed, ziet er fantastisch uit en de afwerking is top.
