Combined with one of the best and most-used vocal microphones of all time, the Shure GLXD2+ handheld microphone transmitter has a progressive Dual Band design that combines with an automatic frequency management system to ensure ultra-consistent performance. This model features an integrated lithium-ion rechargeable battery that supports up to 12 hours of operation.

The Shure SM58 Dynamic Vocal Microphone

The SM58 is so popular simply because of the way it treat vocals with warmth and clarity while the versatile character of its dynamic, cardioid polar pattern which effectively focusses sound capture to reduce ambient noise capture. This microphone also boasts a frequency response that's been specifically calibrated for vocals, an intelligent pneumatic internal shockmount system that efficiently counters handling noise and an integrated pop filter to reduce the effect of plosives. All of it comes wrapped in a robust and stage-ready housing.

The Shure GLXD4+ Dual Band Receiver

The Shure GLXD4+ digital receiver completes this system, and like the included transmitter, combines an automatic frequency management system with the newest Dual Band technology. This results in reliable and consistent performance, and when it comes to setting up, both a 3-pin XLR port and 6.3mm jack port have been fitted on the rear for direct connection to the mixer. While the receiver can be mains powered, if there's no power socket nearby, it can just as easily be powered by the built-in lithium-ion battery. Charge it up via the USB-C port for up to 12 hours of operation.
