The Sire Marcus Miller V7+ A4F Black is a fretless 4-string electric bass guitar that combines the classic Jazz Bass style with modern technology and high-quality materials. The North American alder body is renowned for its balanced tone, with powerful mid-range and tight bass response. The stylish black finish gives the bass a timeless look, whilst the fretless construction ensures smooth transitions, expressive vibratos and the characteristic vocal-like tone for which fretless basses are renowned. This makes the bass suitable for a wide range of musical styles, from jazz and fusion to pop and funk.

Versatile tone control

The Marcus Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups have been developed to approximate the warm, broken-in sound of classic Jazz Bass pickups, whilst offering additional definition and dynamics. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp operates at 18 volts and features a comprehensive 3-band EQ with volume/tone, pickup blender, treble, bass and a mid-range control with adjustable frequency. Thanks to the mini-toggle switch, you can easily switch between active and passive modes, putting both vintage and modern bass tones at your fingertips.

Comfort and high-quality finish

The hard maple neck with a satin finish feels comfortable and features a C-profile for a natural playing position. The ebony fingerboard with rounded edge profiles enhances playing comfort and contributes to a clear, tight tone. The natural bone nut ensures optimal string transfer, whilst the Marcus Miller Modern S string-through-body bridge delivers extra sustain, tuning stability and precise intonation. Premium open-gear tuning machines, chrome hardware and a tortoise pickguard complete this high-quality fretless bass.
