Looking for an affordable, no-fuss wireless microphone system for small performances or presentations? Check out the Devine WMD-50 Duo! This compact yet powerful system includes a two-channel receiver fitted with individual volume controls and an LCD display so you can keep track of the signal strength, the volume levels and the selected channel. In addition, the receiver features two balanced XLR outputs, so one for each microphone signal, as well a mono jack mix output. In the ideal conditions, the handheld microphones can be used up to 30 metres away from the receiver, provided the receiver is set up in the line of sight and there's not too much wireless traffic around to interfere with the signal.

After reading the reviews on here, I thought I would try them. Unsure if it was a dodgy unit or what. The mics sounded awful. I only needed cheaper mics for kids parties, but these just popped, crackled and sounded dreadful. Tried a smallBehringer mixer, my Yamaha mixer and at a last attempt on my denon prime. I’ve been in this business for over 20 years and know how to set up a microphone, settings were correct and adjusted. I

We bought this for our church to replace the old microphone. The old microphone was a Sennheiser ew300 G2, and it lasted 15+ years, but I guess it was dropped once too many times and with that G2 model there was no way to replace the condenser. I was a bit anxious about the Devine because it was so much cheaper than the equivalent Sennheiser, and the reviews warned that the plastic casing transmitted the sound of hand movements. I am pleased to report that the Devine mic is great for us. The sound is crisp and clear, with good range right from the back of church (30 m) even when church is full, and we have not noticed any issue with hand movements. Everyone is delighted with it. The receiver is located on the desk of the sound desk, about 80 cm off the ground. Of note, you get two mics, one is at exactly 863.000 MHz (and cannot be changed) and the other is at exactly 864.000 MHz (and cannot be changed). This meant that we had to change our fully modulated Sennheiser receivers for our two headset mics to different frequencies, but that was easy (we use 863.3 and 863.6).
