General
The M82 Bass Envelope Filter is an effect pedal for bass guitars that allows you and your bass guitar to bring the funk. The extensively groovy, organic sound is wrought by genuine old-fashioned analogue circuits. Thanks to the separate Dry and FX knobs, you can blend the perfect mix of direct signal and effect for virtually any funk sound imaginable - without losing any of the low end.
The M82 Bass Envelope Filter in practise
You can easily engage the M82 Bass Envelope filter with the foot switch. If the pedal is off, the true bypass makes sure nothing you won't lose any of your dry signal's clarity. Use the Q knob to set the intensity of the filter effect and adjust the sensitivity to make it respond to your attack just the way you like it. Moreover, the decay knob on the M82 lets you select a decay stop frequency. To boot, MXR crammed all these functions in a durable, compact stomp box that will fit right in on your pedalboard.

ben eigenlijk voortgegaan op de reviews van verschillende mensen over dit product en andere gelijkaardige. ik heb er geen seconde spijt van. zeggen dat deze beter is dan een ander zou niet fair zijn aangezien ik direct deze besteld heb. ik ben er super tevreden van en geen nood om andere te testen. deze doet wat moet en de sound is great.

Cette pédale sonne mieux avec une basse passive je trouve...
Les réglages sont assez complexes pour arriver à trouver le bon son, mais une fois qu'il y est, on atteint le saint graal !
Une auto wah qui transperce le mix, toujours super définie et qui permet d'obtenir des bons sons à la Bootsy Collins.

verschillende filters gebruikt, deze is naar mijn mening de beste. Erg robuuste behuizing. Mooi dat je je dry signal kan mixen dat behoud het laag erg goen. nadeel van envelope filters is dat je "pieken"in het geluid lasting kunt controleren, dit kun je overigens prima oplossen middels een compressor/limiter (ik gebruik die van EBS)
Kortom prima effect, kost paar centen maar dan heb je ook wat!

Met mijn coverband speel ik redelijk wat funk nummers en na ruim een jaar wikken en wegen ben ik toch maar overgegaan tot het aanschaffen van deze pedaal. Ik heb tot nu toe absoluut geen spijt want hij klinkt erg lekker. Je hebt de wereld aan instelmogelijkheden waardoor je hele diverse effecten kan maken.
De frequentie waarmee ik het effect gebruik is overigens wel laag en daarmee is het een minder efficiënte investering geweest. Maar goed, dan heb je wel de beste in z'n soort.
Kritische noot: het pedaal lijkt iets minder goed overweg te kunnen met actieve signalen. Het werkt uiteraard allemaal nog steeds prima, maar het gaat ten koste van een stukje gevoeligheid. Je zult wat moeten tweaken met de controls om het geheel lekker te laten klinken.
De frequentie waarmee ik het effect gebruik is overigens wel laag en daarmee is het een minder efficiënte investering geweest. Maar goed, dan heb je wel de beste in z'n soort.

Voor het echte '70s funk geluid voor je basgitaar moet je een evelope filter hebben, dat is wat ik iemand ooit heb horen zeggen. En nu zeg ik: als je er dan toch 1 moet hebben: haal dan de MXR M82 Bass Envelope Filter. Een zeer gemakkelijk te bedienen analoge envelope filter. Voor mij het eerste effecten pedaal wat ik ooit heb gekocht en zelfs ik wist binnen no time de lekkerste funky geluiden eruit te krijgen. En met de 5 knoppen kan je een hoop kanten op. Haal er wel meteen een adapter bij want de batterij duur is niet super lang.
