General
Even though compact bass amps are getting increasingly better these days, the ultimate bass amp stack is still worth its weight in gold. If you're looking for your dream rig, Hiwatt offer the B300 from their Maxwatt series. It's a solid state bass guitar amplifier head that can produce 300 watts at 4 ohms (or 200 watts at 8 ohms). If you really want to make some noise, connect it to one or two speaker cabinets of your choice, as long as the minimum impedance is at least 4 ohms.
B300 amp head: no nonsense
If you want your bass sound to be perfect right off the bat, then the B300 is the way to go. All you need to do to get started is plug in your bass, select active or passive mode, and you're ready to rock. Use the gain, bass, and treble controls to tweak your sound to perfection. If you want to fine-tune it even more, activate the 7-band graphic EQ. Want to even out the volume peaks? Press the limit button. Finally, adjust the master volume and you'll get an unbeatable sound with the Hiwatt Maxwatt B300 bass guitar amp head!
