With a 12-inch hybrid paper/aluminium driver and 500 Watts of power, Hartke's Kickback KB12 bass amp combo is ideal for rehearsals, recording sessions or performances. Its now legendary design means it can be used in an upright position or in a 'kicked back' position when you want to use it for monitoring purposes. It's not for nothing that the Kickback is still on the market after more than 20 years, after all. While many have tried to emulate it, few have managed to come close.
Features
The Kickback features Hartke's HyDrive Speaker Technology and is driven by a powerful Class-D amplifier. It has a headphone socket for when you want to practice in silence and an XLR output for when you're performing live. The KB12 also features comprehensive tone controls with a Shape knob and a 3-band EQ so that you can customise your sound. If you plan on taking your bass amp combo with you regularly, you may be interested to know that the KB12 weighs just 12.8 kg! This makes the Hartke Kickback KB12 an extremely practical top-quality bass amp combo with a great sound.

Rien à redire pour ce "petit" combo qui délivre bien toute sa puissance promise. Je joue sur une Fender Précision. L'association des deux me donne entière satisfaction. J'attends de voir ce que le duo va donner en concert en extérieur mais je suis optimiste !

Très bon ampli, même de petite taille délivrant un son puissant. J'ai utilisé jusqu'à maintenant un Ashdown Mag 300, qui était aussi un bon ampli, mais qui ne fonctionne plus, je ne saurais dire pourquoi. J'ai 3 basses: Cort C4, Shecter Stiletto Deluxe 4, et Music Man Stingray 5. Je joue principalement sur la Shecter, ainsi que la Music Man. Il n'y a pas à dire, le son rendu est trop fort!

Een uitstekende kwaliteit/ prijs verhouding.
Na jaren van gesjouw met zware versterker/ boxen besloten tot aanschaf van deze. Mijn rug is er tot nu toe al erg blij mee. Mijn band trouwens ook met het geluid. Ik gebruik hem om een contrabas uit te versterken en dat gaat prima.
Zoals altijd bij Hartke simpel maar doeltreffend.

Bonjour, mon précédant ampli était un messa boogie walk about 15 que j'ai utilisé pendant dix années.
Je ne m'en suis séparé que pour deux bonnes raisons:
le poids +de 25kg et l'encombrement. Sorti d'un matériel d'une telle fabrication je ne me faisais pas trop d'illusion quant à la comparaison avec le petit Hartke...Pourtant, la qualité de fabrication est parfaite, très soignée, le poids plume 12.8kg, le song extra! Un joujoux pour Bassiste :)
Hyper polyvalent et puissant, cet empli m'a surprit de façon stupéfiante.
Il est important de préciser que je joue sur une très bonne basse "yamaha BB 2004"
C'est la qualité des micros et de l'électronique de votre instrument qui transmettra un excellent, bon ou moins bon signal à votre ampli(à prendre en compte).
Dans le cas présent, c'est génial !

Ik sluit mij aan bij de vorige review! Makkelijk draagbaar doordat ie compact en licht van gewicht is. De kickback-mogelijkheid is heel erg handig (scheelt ook weer een ampstand meenemen, tenzij je al oren op de knieën hebt ;-)). Daarnaast flinke power (meer dan genoeg in een bandsituatie) met een mooi geluid (vind ik).

Na 11 jaar mijn HA5500 versterker + kabinet verkocht en vervolgens de Hartke Kickback KB12 aangeschaft.
Geweldig apparaat die voldoet aan alles wat ik nodig heb. Geen gesjouw meer naar optredens, en ook makkelijk mee te nemen naar repeteren en vermogen zat. Super tevreden en dus een dikke 5 sterren!!
