General
For any novice bassist that wants to start strong or is simply in need of a solid practice amp, Laney offer up the Richter Series RB2. Since this wee amp delivers 30 Watts of output, it can also comfortably take on smaller, not-too-loud jam sessions and band rehearsals, but if you want a little more volume while you practise at home, it's ideal. Loaded with a 10 inch speaker for the low frequencies and a tweeter for the higher frequencies, this tiny yet mighty combo amplifier comes fitted with separate jack inputs for basses with a high or normal output and the sound can be tweaked with ease using the three-band EQ section, complete with detailed Para-Mid control over the mids, and the XLR output can be hooked up to an external DI box. All of this comes packed into a neat tilt-back cabinet for optimum projection.
