Each pickup section has a double blade humbucker construction and both have the characteristic of greatly expanding low-end and high-end response. The result is very dynamic pickups, which register finger- and pick-attack very well, give plenty of sustain in the highs and produce plenty of overtones. The dual-blade design ensures that the high notes in particular remain very full-sounding, which also makes them ideal for fretless bass guitars.
