General
The DiMarzio DP149 Ultra Jazz Pair consists of one bridge and one neck bass guitar element, which are somewhat similar in sound to the Fender Jazz Bass sound. However, you can go either the vintage, or modern direction in terms of sound with these pickups. These pickups have a somewhat deeper low end, a rounder but not muddy midrange and a lively high-end, where harmonic overtones are always present. These elements are 4-wire and therefore can be used in series, parallel & coil split.
