General
This DiMarzio DP295 Relentless Neck bass guitar element was designed in collaboration with legendary bassist Billy Sheehan (Mr Big, The Winery Dogs). Together with DiMarzio, he was looking for a neck pickup that would deliver a tremendously deep low end - and they managed to do just that. Even in the higher regions of your neck, the low end remains very stable, keeping the sound consistent in that respect at all times. This also has the advantage, that in some bass guitars this pickup also works fine as a bridge element. Because of the high output, you can also experiment quite a bit with the height of your strings.
