This is the EMG 35CS: an active, dual-coil soapbar pickup voiced for four-string basses. Easily installed, this pup comes with all the mounting materials you need and is compatible with EMG's neat solderless system. What you get in return for all that hard work is the sound of a powerful and modern, full-fat humbucker. Ideal when you prefer to pull back on the trebles in your tone, this model features two coils with ceramic and steel magnets that support warm and punchy sound framed by softly rounded trebles and reinforced by plenty of output. Meanwhile, the silent built-in EMG preamp virtually mutes the pickup the moment you stop playing. This edition features a longer 89mm housing.
