The BOSS ME-90B kits out bassists with a powerful multi-FX processor loaded with 61 effects and 10 AIRD preamps. Equipped with a small army of controls as well as a built-in expression pedal, this potent tool can be effortlessly operated using your hands and feet and unlocks a treasure trove of options that help get your creative juices flowing. You're free to plug the ME-90B into your bass amp, hook it up to your audio interface, or connect it directly to the PA system. There's not even any latency, meaning you can stay fully focussed on your bass lines.

The ME-90B: Everything You Need

Ideal for gigging bassists, the classic BOSS ME stompbox-style control lay-out puts every function and setting within easy reach — no menu-diving required. Every effect category is backed up by dedicated controls for the most-used parameters, while the Manual Mode enables you to turn categories on and off entirely using the footswitches. In Memory Mode, you can instantly access 36 custom multi-effect patches and, so you can easily keep track of it all, every footswitch is illuminated by a differently coloured LED. If you want, you can also assign a fixed colour to any of the LEDs.

BOSS Bass Effects Library

The fat stack of effects that the ME-90B serves up come from the BOSS Bass Effects Library and have been divided into six categories. For proper tone-sculpting, you get a range of compressor, pitch-shifters and filters. For injecting character, you get drive and synth effects, while your bread-and-butter effects include a host of modulation effects, delays and reverbs. Want to add your favourite stompboxes to the mix? No problem! Simply connect them to the integrated FX loop and mix them in as needed with the Blend pot.
