Trace Elliot Transit B preamp and multi-effects for bass guitar
My Transit B arrived Friday, so I thought Id share my thoughts on my new toy
It seems to be the perfect solution allowing me to use a compact Class D amp and small speaker rig to get the Trace Elliot Sound without lugging nearly 100kg of full on Trace AH500-7 amp and 2x10 & 1x15 speakers (now consigned to long term storage).
Tuner (chromatic) is great for standard and drop tunings, dual band compressor gives extra flexibility, and tone shaping with the sem-parametric graphic is really easy. Plenty of flexibility in the rear connectivity panel and the addition of aux & phones jacks is a nice touch.
Setting the tone flat on the Class D amp (no line input) and you wouldnt know it wasnt my old AH500-7 amp head!

First gig last night with the new box - amazing sound, so pleased with the results!
If you consider the price of buying individual stomp box pedals to duplicate the functionality I.e. compression, eq, drive, tuner and an active DI box - the Transit B pedal is excellent value for money
