Despite the fact that Trace Elliot are known for their bass products, the Transit A is a preamp and effects pedal designed for acoustic guitarists that is perfect for both studio and live applications. Thanks to the onboard inputs and outputs, it's easy to connect the Transit A to an amplifier, PA or mixer so that you can have the same great acoustic tone wherever you play.

Transit A: features

Wrote the following about Trace Elliot Transit A preamp and effects for acoustic guitars

Een tijdje geleden ging ik deze pedaal verkopen omdat ik ook een Boss AD10 heb en nu ook nog een NUX Optima IR, + nog Hi-Z ingangen op mixtafel en Roland CUBE Street EX en daarom nog eens getest.
Sindsdien gebruik alleen nog deze pedaal die wel via een Rocktron Expression een heel ruimtelijk en mooie stereobeeld geeft, piezo aanpasbaar, zelf stereo uit, goede tuner maar ik gebruik externe.
Ik vind deze gewoon beter klinken dan de Boss(nochtans behoorlijk uitgebreid), de NUX wil ik vooral voor zijn IR gaan gebruiken om zo akoestisch mogelijk te klinken.
I know, the holy grale of sound heb ik nog niet gevonden maar deze komt er toch heel kort bij, misschien dat de NUX daar nog een dimensie gaat aan toevoegen.
1 punt nog, ik wil altijd ruimtelijk stereo klinken (reverb, chorus delay, shimmer enz..) en na deze apparaten gebruik ik nog een DBX Go rack (compressie, EQ 16 presets, sub alsje wil, limiter enz dit is niet meer te koop)
Samengevat ; De transit A is een top apparaat, hoort thuis in de hogere klasse
