In terms of affordable multi-effects pedals, Zoom is in a league of its own. Beginner bassists and advanced players on a budget are offered tons of playing joy with the B3N multi-effects pedal with patches by Frank Bello (Anthrax) and Stu Hamm. It comes with 75 presets and storage for another 150 custom-made presets. Choose from 5 emulated amps, 5 emulated speaker cabs and 67 DSP effects to add flavours to your bass' sound.

B3N: Controls, looping and more..

Thanks to the well laid-out, assignable controls and the three foot switches, each of the three pedals on the Zoom can be manually adjusted, enabled and disabled. Naturally, it's easy to scroll through the different banks, but you've also got a tap tempo switch available for time-based effects. It's possible to layer seven effects on top of each other, and the looper allows you to record up to 80 seconds of effects and add loop effects on top. Additionally, there are 68 built-in rhythmic patterns that can be combined here. Practical features worth mentioning are the AUX input for external devices, the stereo outputs for amplifiers or PA system and the internal tuner (435-445 Hz adjustable).
