The Darkglass Microtubes Infinity stacks up three Microtubes Series bass distortion pedals in one, granting access to the B3K, the Vintage, and the X. This exceptional stompbox even features a multiband compressor; the option to blend up impulse responses (IRs) with your selected distortion; and via the fitted USB-C port, you get to browse through the hundreds of cabinet simulations that line the shelves of the Darkglass IR Library via the Darkglass Suite desktop app. Basically, when they named this powerful chunk of an effect the Infinity, they meant it.

The Darkglass Microtubes Infinity: Easy Does It

While this Darkglass offering piles on the options, it's actually pretty easy to use. The touch-sensitive sliders are a treat, offering immediate access to a six-band equalizer with a range of -12dB to 12dB per band. The preamp section control pots are chunky and tactile, so you can accurately dial in the distortion amount with the Drive pot; balance the dry and effected signal with the Blend pot; and scroll through decades of classic bass sounds via the Tone·Era pot - where modes two and four toggle the much-loved Vintage Microtubes ERA control.

Very good. Had it before and I made a mistake selling it. So I’ve ordered a new one.

I only use this with wireless pedal for gigging and rehearsals, at home I just plug in the headphones and connect my phone.nothing else really needed.

Very convenient with very nice range of tones and possibilities.VT and B3K are nice but sound very dark with cab sim on, unless a bright cab sim is used.
The crossover for both are my favourites. Very usable and highly adjustable.

Can only recommend.

Alles wat je verwacht van een Darkglass cab sim / distortion pedal. De Microtubes Infinity is vrij intuïtief in z'n gebruik. Toch zijn er een paar dingetjes waar je aan moet wennen, namelijk dat je veel meer keuze hebt dan in de enkele pedaaltjes zoals de Vintage Microtubes en de BK3. Het is dus even een uurtje of twee pielen en ontdekken. Daarna gaat er een wereld aan soundscaping voor je open. Alles werkt heel smooth ook via de Darkglass suite software. Ook daar is het even dingetjes uitproberen totdat je het door hebt, maar dat gaat vrij snel.
Een van de fijnste dingen aan dit apparaat is dat ik geen dikke Ampeg buizenbak meer nodig heb. Dit pedaaltje gaat direct via de mixer in de PA. Nooit meer sjouwen en rugpijn dus. En de sounds zijn EPIC.
