Designed to tackle any job, the Zoom ZDM-1 dynamic microphone captures vocals and speech with rich warmth and is able to handle high sound pressure levels without clipping or distorting. The super-cardioid polar pattern efficiently ignores any sound directed at the sides and back, leaving fully focussed results and supporting high-quality, multi-mic recordings in the same room, and due to a special internal circuit, the signal is fully guarded against the electromagnetic interference caused by power cables, monitors, phones, and other culprits. While definitely set up for podcasting, broadcasting or recording vocals, the dynamic capsule of the Zoom ZDM-1 even supports live vocals.
