Want to build your own cajon from the ground up? Get the Schlagwerk CBA20S Large Cajon DIY Kit! This kit includes a birch playing surface, a spruce body, a set of feet, two 20-strand sets of snare wires, super-glue, and even tension straps that hold everything together while the glue sets. It takes roughly an hour and a half to put your own cajon together, which is an incredibly fun and satisfying process. When you're finished, you have a solid snare cajon with rounded corners for optimal playing comfort.
