With this solid piece of German-design, Schlagwerk have carved out a fresh dimension in the illustrious world of cajons. This two-in-one birch cajon-come-snare is finished to look like a converted crate. This percussive instrument is not only wide ranging in terms of sound and playability but will also look great next to the coffee table.
The 2in-One Snare Cajon Technique
The Schlagwerk 2in-One technique is created as follows: inside the body of the cajon, fitted snare spirals hit the back of the playing surface at a certain angle. When the playing surface of the cajon is struck, the spirals vibrate and create the characteristic sound of a modern snare-cajon. These snare spirals can also be easily removed to leave you with a traditional Cuban cajon sound as needed. And, since you can just as easily reinstall them, the Schlagwerk 2in-One technique really brings an already versatile rhythmic instrument a step further.
