General
The Varios cajons by Sela are very popular and are considered to be great entry-level percussion instruments. With a Varios cajon, you're getting a professional-sounding instrument for a very reasonable price. Especially for young, budding percussionists, the Varios cajon is also available in a miniature version. The Varios Mini features a fun and funky yellow front plate made of poplar wood and a sturdy body made of birch, the same material as the full-size Varios cajons.
A great feature, especially for this children's cajon, is the Sela Snare System which enables you to remove the snare on the inside when you want a drier, more traditional Peruvian sound. Using the same system, you can also add an extra snare (sold separately) for a more modern, Flamenco-style sound. Making music is not only fun, it's also proven to be highly beneficial for child development. Because it's so accessible and easy to play, the Sela Varios mini cajon is an ideal way to introduce your offspring to music and rhythm!

Sela presented a number of new cajons at the annual Musikmesse trade show in Frankfurt, as well as a few existing models that have been given a makeover! Now, the popular Varios entry-level model is available with a gold front plate and it even comes in a 37cm-high miniature version, specially designed for the smallest percussionists among us. The most noteworthy of the new additions is without a doubt the CaSela Vintage series.
