General
The Stentor SR1586E Conservatoire 1/2 is a popular choice for cello students looking to progress to a higher level. This cello is praised for its sound quality and durability and is therefore often recommended by music teachers as the ideal next step. Thanks to the careful selection and seasoning of the tonewoods – such as a solid spruce top and maple sides and back – this Stentor offers a rich and balanced tone. The Shellax finish gives it a classic appearance, whilst ebony components contribute to both playing comfort and tuning stability. Together with the high-quality bow and lightweight hard case included, this forms a complete and reliable cello set for the serious student.
