General
The Stentor SR1590A Messina 4/4 is the first and highest-quality model in Stentor’s Pro Series. This cello is entirely handcrafted from carefully selected tonewoods with beautiful grain patterns. The top is made from exquisite spruce, whilst the back, sides and neck are carved from beautifully flamed maple. This instrument is finished with a traditional shellac varnish and subtly inlaid purfling. Thanks to the ebony fingerboard and tuning pegs, combined with Pirastro strings, you’ll enjoy a warm, rich tone and an exceptional playing experience. Each instrument is individually adjusted, something that test players notice immediately.
