A beauty to behold, a joy to play and a pleasure to have, the Suzuki Chromatix SCX-64-C is one of the most luxurious chromatic harmonicas around. Presented as part of the professional Chromatic Series, each example is hand-made by experienced Japanese craftspeople and fitted with an ergonomic mouthpiece, phosphor bronze reeds and chrome-plated covers. As evidenced by its smooth sound and fast response, the Suzuki SCX-64 is one of the most airtight harmonicas on the market. It also comes complete with a deluxe storage case.

Suzuki Chromatix SCX 64.
Bought the above chromatic harmonica as a b stock item from BAX, It was as new, just missing the cardboard box, great purchase from a great store with very quick delivery!
The Suzuki has undoubtedly become my favourite chromatic, very airtight, smooth to play & has a two piece mouth piece making it very easy to clean.
Best of all,the windsavers / valves are excellent, virtually no sticking even from cold allowing me to play rather than continously troubleshoot issues, I really can't say the same for my other chromatics!
I highly recommend these harmonicas and BAX for being an excellent seller.

The Suzuki Chromatix SCX-64 is a stunning instrument. I have messed about with one or two SCX-48s and liked them very much but wanted to extend the range. This instrument does that beautifully and every note plays perfectly right from the beginning. With some harmonicas I have found that the bottom notes are hard to play, not so with this instrument. I used to play jazz on the accordion but it's getting too heavy to carry around so I am hoping to replace it with this instrument. Now for the hard part of learning to play better. I am inspired by MuddyHatta playing Misty on YOuRube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZCXEgnf94g). I highly recommend all the Suzuki Chromatix.

De Chromatix SCX-64 (M.Suzuki,Japan) is een 4-octaaf , chromatische harmonica met 64 toonhoogten vanaf C3 tot aan D7 . Het luchtdichte , tweedelig en mooi afgerond mondstuk laat een comfortabele embouchure toe en men geraakt er vlug gewend aan. Daarbij geven de fosfor-brons lamellen ( rieten ,tongen ) een goede en directe respons bij het bespelen. De productie tolerantie tussen mondstuk en de schuif is nauwkeurig waarbij de schuif zich gemakkelijk laat bedienen. De zwarte ABS plastieken kam van deze harmonica geeft dit akoestisch instrument een deftig ,typisch Japans uitzicht.
De Suzuki SCX-64 is een fijne harmonica die menig amateur muzikant een plezier zal zijn bij het musiceren. Euro voor euro afgewogen ,is deze aankoop me zeer bevallen!
