D'Addario Woodwinds Reserve X0 mouthpiece for Bb clarinet

The Reserve mouthpieces are designed to give the player a rounded tone on the total range of a B-flat clarinet. To do this, D'Addario Woodwinds has looked at the properties of mouthpieces from the past that were praised for this. The production process has been adapted for this purpose, including the development of a new hard rubber type. From this, the mouthpiece is milled with special CNC machines. As a result, all mouthpieces have the same high standard. The X0 model has the smallest tip opening of the series, at 1.00 millimetres. Equipped with a medium to long runway length (facing).

Flexibility

The Reserve series mouthpieces have the characteristic of being easy to play on. This applies to both the low and high register. As a result, playing no longer involves biting or unwanted finger tension. Whether bindings or staccato notes, the tone remains round. The X0 is tuned to a frequency of A=441 Hz, but can be fine-tuned by means of the barrel. Suitable for both beginners and advanced players.
