D'Addario Woodwinds Reserve X15E mouthpiece for Bb clarinet

The Reserve X15E mouthpiece for B-flat clarinet is designed to increase the clarinetist's range. A striking feature of this mouthpiece is its long trajectory, which also increases the tip opening, in this case 1.18 millimetres. This does mean more resistance, but also a greater tonal range. Long bound notes, but also short staccato notes come equally full from this mouthpiece. The smooth playing and clear articulation of this mouthpiece prevent learning bad habits, such as biting and cramped fingers.

Inspired by the past

D'Addario Woodwinds' Reserve clarinet mouthpieces are based on successful mouthpieces from the past. A premium hard rubber was used for this purpose. From this, the mouthpieces have been milled, just like in the past, instead of parts glued together. This has been done with CNC machines, which ensures greater consistency between the mouthpieces themselves. So they all sound the same. Both the beginner and advanced player can get by with this mouthpiece.
