We all know that after a while it's important to change your reed. The truth is though, you should probably replace your mouthpiece eventually as well! The mouthpiece is a crucial part of any wind instrument, and not only does it dictate how hard you have to blow but it influences the overall timbre of the instrument. With the MP ACL 6C Yamaha offers you a mouthpiece for alto clarinet with excellent playing characteristics. This model produces a powerful sound for alto clarinet with excellent playing characteristics.
Yamaha offers an expansive assortment of mouthpieces in their Standard series. These mouthpieces are made of high-quality phenol, which is synthetic material. Because Yamaha has borrowed the design from their custom series, it offers good, consistent playability. Moreover, the mouthpieces from the Standard series are easier to play than those of the Custom series - a characteristic especially advantageous for beginners. For most of the Standard series mouthpieces you can choose from different sizes.
