General
For creative guitarists, six strings are sometimes not enough to realise all their musical ideas. They can indulge in this Ortega Performer Series RCE159RW-8, an eight-string classical guitar with a solid cedar top that provides a warm sound. The rest of the body is rosewood, as is the fingerboard, and both woods provide a nice contrast and an elegant, timeless look. You can play this guitar acoustically but there is also a preamp available that allows you to plug into an amplifier or PA system. The Ortega MagusFly/G-8 preamp works with a rechargeable battery and has two rotary knobs in the sound hole that allow you to control tone and volume directly. To transport your instrument safely and comfortably, a sturdy gig bag is included in the price.
