General

With a solid spruce top and rosewood body, this Ortega Performer Series RCE158RW-8 is a beautiful classical guitar with a powerful sound with a bright midrange and strong projection. But the most striking feature of this instrument is of course the number of strings: there are 8 of them, two more than standard guitars. You get two extra low bass strings, which of course provides extensive musical possibilities. The okoume neck is obviously also slightly wider, but remains smoothly playable with a nut width of 70 mm. You can also easily adjust it yourself thanks to the built-in neck pin (2 way truss rod). This guitar has a nice acoustic sound, but you can also plug into an amplifier. The built-in Ortega MagusFly/G-8 preamp works with a rechargeable battery and offers tone and volume control via dials in the sound hole. To transport your guitar in a safe and comfortable way, you get a Pro gig bag with it.
