The Ortega R18S-L Traditional Series is a full-size, left-handed 4/4 classical guitar handmade in Spain, the home of classical guitar making. The solid cedar top delivers a warm, direct sound with fast response. Ideal for fingerstyle and classical repertoire. The bubinga sides and back provide extra clarity and projection, which you'll notice especially in lively pieces or when playing in an ensemble. The satin finish of the R18S gives the wood breathing room and shows off the natural wood grain beautifully. With a 650 mm scale, the guitar is comfortable and familiar in the hand, for beginners and advanced players alike!

Spanish craftsmanship with modern precision

The neck is made of African mahogany with a traditional Spanish heel joint, which ensures optimal vibration transfer between the neck and body. Ortega has tuned the neck with spot® technology for stable action and easy playability across the entire register. The fingerboard and bridge are Indian rosewood, which keep the sound natural and balanced. Although it is a very practical guitar, Ortega has not compromised on the details: the maple purfling around the body adds a subtle decorative touch. The guitar comes with Knobloch EDQ 34.0 nylon strings and a handy gig bag, so you can hit the road with your guitar right away!
