The BOSS Katana-Artist is the flagship that takes the modelling guitar amplifiers from the popular Katana series to the next level. This half-open, 100W guitar amplifier combo is equipped with a 12-inch Waza speaker that gives you the sound and response you'd expect from a classic British stack. This powerful amp is perfect for all sorts of music styles including blues, jazz, country and even heavy rock and metal. When you don't quite need 100 Watts of power, you can easily dial it back to 50 or even 0.5 Watts, making this amp just as suitable for use at home as it is on the stage.
Katana-Artist: Realistic Sounds
There are five different amplifier types to choose from (acoustic, clean, crunch, lead and brown) and each has been specially developed to work perfectly with the built-in Waza speaker or with the optional Katana speaker cabinet. There are no fewer than 58 effects on board and each can be adjusted to taste using the BOSS Tone Studio Editor and you can save up to 8 of your favourite settings for easy recall at a later time. The cabinet resonance (vintage, modern and deep) and the line out air feel (rec, live and blend) can be selected too, giving you the perfect sound and feel for almost any situation.

conclusie: had ik het maar eerder gedaan!
hiervoor heb ik zowel de 50 als de ' gewone' 100 watter gehad, en altijd een beetje bedenkingen gehouden over het geluid daarvan, maar nu zijn er geen twijfels meer: dit is gewoon echt heel veel mooier; niet 1, niet 2, maar 3 stappen beter. En ook gewoon veel makkelijker met de knoppen aan de voorkant
ik heb nog nooit zoveel complimenten gehad over mijn geluid: bizar gewoon
versterker is ontegenzeggelijk duurder, maar de mogelijkheden zijn gewoon ook ruimer
en die Waza-speaker! zo vet en romig en kristalhelder en hard, niet normaal
dus alleen al daarvoor kan ik de artist iedereen aanraden
als je je de meerprijs kunt veroorloven: doen!
